Society Limonta takes part in the photography project Noiseless by Stefania Giorgi and Sara Farina.
“A work that shows the desire and the necessity to have a place to go back to and where to pause, somewhere called home, where we lay down what we have seen, what we have lived.
Noiseless is the first of 6 short stories, in which different characters move inside their living spaces during pandemic times. In this short story, a Japanese woman moves inside a house which is her whole world, a world where family traditions and personal life mix and where she finds everything she needs while waiting for everybody’s life to go back to normal and start over.
Through the images the viewer gets access to the intimacy of her haven and, like through a keyhole, explores and becomes part of this story.
The place where we live represents ourselves, like a garment, like a look or like a gesture”.
